Aaron Hines, contractor for the church, told commissioners the front corner has siding damage from a vehicle impact and proposed replacing doors with double metal doors, updating trim and repainting (alabaster white for trims and doors) or applying a beige stucco across the front area. Commissioners reviewed packet materials and discussed original window openings; they concluded the building is in the local historic district but is not a contributing structure, which permits modification of the façade.
A motion to approve the application as presented (moved by Horton and seconded by Robinson) passed by voice vote. Commissioners instructed that brick, trim and paint be coordinated to match the packet samples and Sherwin Williams color references provided.
