"We are definitely growing," a MAP representative told the board. The program plans to add up to 13 classes next year, including new offerings such as podcasting, sculpture, show choir and acting while retaining existing courses. MAP staff described field trips, community events and a recent gala that showcased student artwork and performances.
Students described a recent production (Legally Blonde Jr.) and thanked community partners such as Yuma Community Theater. MAP seniors will be recognized with program stoles at graduation, and staff invited board members to tour Snyder Hall and see student work.
