The Planning Board approved a broad consent agenda including preliminary/final plats, conditional use permits and rezoning requests across the city. Among the consent approvals the board authorized staff to proceed with disposition of two city‑owned lots at 2876 and 2878 Binney Street (KC325308). Kelly Johnson Dorsey of the Planning Department said the vote authorizes the city to sell the parcels and that staff will obtain a survey to confirm utilities and property conditions before determining whether to replat or sell to an adjacent owner. Resident Willie Metcalfe said he had previously attempted to purchase the lots and asked for advance notice; staff said they would contact him after the survey.
The consent package included multiple minor plats, conditional use permits and overlay approvals; all consent items that remained on the agenda were approved by recorded vote 6–0. The board recorded motions and votes for each item and deferred a small number of cases for layover as requested.
