Planning commission sets organizational meeting, trims November and December schedule

Commissioners discussed member availability and agreed to place the organizational meeting on the calendar for Feb. 23.
On a separate calendar item, Commissioner (speaker 3) moved "to approve moving to 1 meeting per November, 1 meeting per December" and Commissioner (speaker 2) seconded. The commission conducted a roll‑call confirmation with affirmative responses from members present: the roll call included spoken confirmations from the members listed in the meeting record and the clerk.
The motion carried and staff said they would adjust the calendar and notice practices accordingly. The commission also confirmed there were currently no pending applications necessitating additional February meetings beyond the Feb. 9 agenda item already scheduled.
