Commission Approves Fence at 870 to Contain Dogs; Commissioners Discuss Hedge and Siting

The Glendale Planning and Historic Preservation Commission approved a fence application for the property at 870 (applicant: Christine Thorman). The applicant told the commission she is "just basically trying to keep the dogs in the yard," explaining that welded wire would be attached to an existing split-rail fence and that the back and side yards are already enclosed.

The commission recorded the action as a carried motion. Staff indicated they have discretion to work out final placement details and will follow up with the applicant on final permitting.
