Vandalia council to consider John Wheeler appointment; votes 7‑0 to enter executive session on real property and litigation

Later in the meeting a motion to enter executive session to discuss the sale of real property and to confer with the city attorney concerning disputes involving imminent court action was made and seconded. The clerk called the roll and Councilmembers Abalos Weaver, Dugan, Ford, Hathaway, Bradford, Vice Mayor Pollock and Mayor Herbst were recorded as voting 'Yes.' The chair stated, "The motion passes 7 0."
