Council approves King's Crossing Phase 6 plat, municipal services agreement and annexation

Council approved three related development items for King's Crossing Phase 6 at its Dec. 2 meeting: the final plat, a municipal services agreement (Ordinance 904) and annexation of approximately 56.939 acres into Parker city limits (Ordinance 905).
Preston Walhood, representing the developer, told council Phase 6 includes 45 single-family lots and that construction for the phase is complete except for a CoServ gas-line relocation near the new Lucas Road entrance. Walhood said the developer placed escrow to cover the outstanding item; council and staff described the cost to relocate the line as roughly $12,000 of actual relocation work and an escrow calculation by square yards at about $26,000 to cover contingencies.
P&Z had recommended approval and staff confirmed punch-list items were complete other than the gas-line relocation. Council took separate motions to approve the final plat, the municipal services agreement authorizing the mayor to execute it, and the annexation ordinance; each motion carried 5'0on voice/vote. Developer and council members noted the plat will provide an additional entrance to Lucas Road for adjoining phases and allow the developer to file the plat with county records.
What happens next: staff will record the plat, return escrow when CoServ work is completed and proceed with the municipal services agreement implementation according to the ordinance.
