Jesus Sosa, speaking for the applicant, said he had provided some materials and that remaining fire-marshal approvals were pending; he told the board, “I have it in the email right now. I can't just send it right now.”
Board members said previous citations and neighborhood complaints at nearby addresses required a careful review. Officer Mosher confirmed other citations had been written by Sergeant Cal. After discussion, a board member moved to defer consideration of Cabanas (Bureau 1378) to the next meeting to allow regulatory staff time to review the complete background and related materials; the motion carried on a roll call vote.
The board instructed the applicant to submit the full background check documentation and to obtain required fire-marshal signoff before reconsideration. No final permit decision was made at the meeting.
