Lake County Public Works honored; board approves annual highway users tax fund report

Public Works Director Michael Erwin then led the county's annual highway users tax fund report, describing the county's mileage inventory and condition accounting required by the state. Erwin said the county currently reports roughly "388 89" eligible lane miles for HGF funds, noted reclassifications of recently paved roads to "good," and said he added two roads to the list this year: Stagecoats Road (designated County Road 27) and Snowshoe Rabbit Drive (a subdivision road now added to the plan).
A commissioner moved to approve the annual highway users tax fund report; the board voted to approve the motion.
Next steps: Erwin will finalize and sign the report for submission to the state as required.
