Christina Earthing, clinical supervisor, said the client-age breakdown was 166 people ages 0–17, 332 ages 18–64 and 19 age 65 or older. Hamilton Center recorded 211 inpatient unit stays and provided 14,746 outpatient services during the year. Earthing said 461 clients — about 89% — were under 200% of the federal poverty level.
Earthing outlined the office-level finances for Vermillion County: $948,514 in salaries and benefits, $368,033 in general expenses, and $291,180 in inpatient costs. The presentation listed $26,704 in charity care provided, $192,932 in Vermillion County tax support, and 24 employees who live in the county.
Commissioners thanked Earthing for the overview and asked no substantive follow-up questions at the meeting. The presentation closes the center's report for the year; county staff will retain the report in the packet for future budget and service discussions.
