Chair Matt Dorsey announced at the Treasure Island Mobility Management Agency Committee meeting on Jan. 27, 2026, that the California Strategic Growth Council has awarded a $45,000,000 grant to support affordable housing and transportation projects on Treasure Island. "We are thrilled to see that 1 Treasure Island received a grant of $100,000 to pilot a community mobility program," Dorsey told commissioners as he thanked the John Stewart Company, the Treasure Island Development Authority (TIDA), and the TIMUP program for supporting the applications.
