Kensington — The Kensington School Board approved a memorandum of understanding with the Exeter Regional Cooperative School District to allow Kensington staff to borrow co-op vehicles, including a handicap-accessible van, for school trips and staff activities.
A district representative explained the co-op bought several 15-passenger vans to support athletics, outdoor activities and special-needs transportation; under the MOU Kensington would not pay rental fees but would reimburse fuel and mileage. "You're just reimbursing basically gas and mileage," the presenter said.
A motion to sign the MOU was made, seconded and approved by voice vote; the superintendent's office will finalize the draft and sign the agreement.
What happens next: Administration will circulate the final MOU and arrange for signatures and operational details for scheduling and fuel reimbursement.
