Denison council holds closed session on four legal matters, takes no action

The Denison City Council convened an executive session Feb. 2 under Texas Government Code section 551.071 to consult with the city attorney on pending or contemplated litigation.
The four matters listed by the mayor were Texoma Fund Development Fund v. City of Denison; HDM Properties, LLC and Jacklyn v. City of Denison; Julianne Clark and Robert Lee Clark v. James Connor Elmore et al.; and Derek Dunlap v. Tyler Buchanan. The council left for closed session at about 6:06–6:10 p.m. and reconvened at roughly 6:36–6:37 p.m.
When the council returned to open session, the mayor announced that no action had been taken on items 1–4. The meeting was then adjourned.
