Ashwaubenon committee approves new agents for two convenience stores

The Village of Ashwaubenon Public Works and Protection Committee on Feb. 3 approved two agent appointments for convenience stores, following staff confirmation that applications, fees and background checks were complete.
Staff member Joel said the packet showed that ‘‘all paperwork, applications, [and] background check have been completed, fee has been paid and filed accordingly’’ for the Kwik Trip location at 2499 South Point Road, and recommended approval of Steve Willis as the store’s agent. After a motion, the committee voted in favor and the chair declared the motion carried.
The committee took a separate, similar action to appoint Rebecca Armstrong as agent for Chris Oil Company, d/b/a Chris Foodmart, store number 87. Joel told the committee that ‘‘all paperwork corresponding fees [were] filed’’ and that the background check had been cleared; members moved, seconded and approved the appointment.
The approvals were routine and carried by voice vote. There were no recorded objections in the committee meeting. The appointments allow the named agents to act as the licensed point of contact and to oversee operations that require oversight under village code and state law.
