The board discussed whether routine renewals should appear as informational items in consent agendas or under the administrator’s delegated authority; administrators said they would provide a summary listing of renewals for board information going forward.
The board also discussed safeguards and review responsibilities, including whether county attorneys should still review recurring agreements, and asked that the administrator consult legal counsel on time‑sensitive items. The resolution passed by voice vote after the amendment.
