Board of Education meeting adjourned after lack of quorum

The Board of Education meeting was called to order at 3:46 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4. After the secretary called the roll, Chair Braxton was recorded as present while Members Ford and Hudson were marked "Absent excused." An attendee notified the chair that the meeting lacked a quorum.
Chair Braxton said the small committee of three requires an additional member to conduct business and recommended postponing the meeting to a later date. A staff member said they would work with the chair at the NDE to reschedule. The chair adjourned the meeting at 3:47 p.m.
No substantive agenda items were discussed or acted upon during the session.
