The Wentworth Town Council approved routine agenda items and voted to table consideration of appointing a delegate to the Piedmont Triad Regional Council until the April meeting after members expressed difficulty attending daytime meetings.
Council then considered Budget Amendment No. 4 for fiscal year 2025–2026. Planning/finance staff explained the amendment reallocates $5,037 and $9,000 between operating and capital outlay accounts to purchase two security cameras (one for the gym) and tables and chairs for facility rentals. Staff noted vendor quotes (Event Stable) and that total budget dollars remain unchanged. Council approved the amendment by voice vote.
The council announced upcoming Wentworth meeting dates and adjourned the session.
