Staff introduced Diesel, a 3-year-old Cane Corso Mastiff weighing about 117 pounds, describing him as housebroken, calm in cars, good with people and other dogs (especially females), and suitable for a home with structure, space and a fenced yard; because of his size and strength he is available by application only. "If you've ever wanted an affectionate pony disguised as a dog, come on down and meet Diesel today at Williamson County Animal Center," the presenter said.
The presenter also introduced Ashley, a 7-year-old orange-and-white short-hair cat. Staff described her as affectionate and friendly, preferring to be the only cat in the home and not suited to households with young children who may not respect her boundaries. "With a cozy perch, a sunny window, and plenty of love, Ashley will make a loyal and charming companion," the presenter said.
