Staff also presented the final plat for Greenpoint Phase 3 (off Applin Harlem Road), describing 35 single‑family lots (minimum 6,580 sq ft; average 7,405 sq ft), sidewalks, street trees, a 50‑foot buffer and 4.71 acres of open space; the commission recommended approval.
In a public hearing, staff (Dylan) described a temporary use authorization request from new property owner Christina A. Chase to place a 10×35 trailer for up to 12 months at the Nathan Jones Road property while a permanent home is built; staff recommended approval and the commission approved the temporary use authorization.
Chair clarified that the Planning Commission is a recommending body and that these recommendations will be forwarded to the Columbia County Board of Commissioners for final action on Dec. 16, 2025. No legal matters were raised and the commission adjourned.
