Resident urges security and better league engagement as volunteers avoid some parks

Fletcher returned later to relay complaints from adult sports players at the Lake Forest Sports Park. He said staff had told him an adult sports advisory group would meet, but he was subsequently told staff held in‑house discussions and postponed meetings with teams. Fletcher read several players’ comments alleging poor scheduling, combined divisions that have reduced parity, and loss of teams to other complexes. He asked staff to meet with league representatives and reconsider organization and promotion.
Staff acknowledged Fletcher’s comments and said they would follow up after the meeting. The commission did not take immediate action on the sports league requests but directed staff to follow up with the speaker.
