Madison Collins, the airport's environmental coordinator, briefed the commission on PFAS-related work, reporting steady progress on water hookups and ongoing specification review for fuel-farm remediation.
Collins said six hookup contracts remain to be completed; three contracts are expected to be finished by the end of the month and several properties have completed connections and are working through reimbursement. She also said the airport is in the FAA review process for fuel-farm remediation specs and that staff are updating the PFAS webpage to provide clearer information but had no confirmed language to announce yet.
The commission did not take action on PFAS items at this meeting; Collins said she will continue to meet with consultants and bring updates to future meetings.
