Commission approves minutes, consent docket and 2026 meeting calendar
Summary
At its meeting the Urban Design Commission approved minutes and a three-item consent docket, adopted its 2026 meeting calendar, reviewed administrative approvals, and set the next meeting for Dec. 17; the commission also recommended SPUD 01780 to the Planning Commission with a lot-width condition.
The Urban Design Commission handled routine business and scheduling before forwarding a rezoning recommendation to the Planning Commission.
A motion to approve the August 27 minutes passed. The commission then approved a consent docket of three items; staff indicated administrative approvals are available in PrimeGov for review. Michael Philbrook of the Planning Department presented the proposed 2026 meeting calendar (fourth Wednesdays, except November and December moved to the third week to avoid holidays). A motion to adopt the calendar passed.
Staff and commissioners confirmed the next Commission meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 17, and new applicants must submit materials by Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 4 p.m. The meeting closed after an attempted motion to adjourn; the transcript ends before a formal adjournment was recorded.
Separately, under other business the Commission recommended approval of SPUD 01780 to the Planning Commission contingent on revising PUD wording to set a minimum lot width of 25 feet.
