The Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust received a quarterly update on the Atoka pipeline during its Oct. 7 meeting.
Acting General Manager Josh introduced Larry, who outlined progress on the roughly 98-mile pipeline: about 66 miles are under construction and the trust has three pump stations now under construction (up from two in the last report). Larry provided section-level status and contractor names: WCA71 (about 14 miles) has completed hydrostatic testing and is expected to finish cleanup and completion in October; WC872 (about 15 miles, Colgate to Stonewall) is under shop drawing review with tunneling and installation slated to begin in December and expected to complete in June 2028; the Stonewall pump station was awarded in July with a construction contract of about $79,900,000 and expected completion in September 2028. Other segments reported included sections delivered and installed by McKee Utilities and an Archer Western contract for the Conaway pump station with ongoing discharge piping and balancing-tank excavation.
Trustees moved to receive the report; a motion, second and voice vote were recorded and the chair announced the motion passed. The transcript does not include roll-call vote tallies or mover/second names.
