Daggett County officials and the project team held a mandatory pre-bid meeting to review plans for a new Daggett County Health & Community Building and to address contractor questions about specifications, site constraints and procurement timing.
Project manager Bart Jensen of Jones and DeMille Engineering told contractors the project is funded in part through the Community Impact Board and listed an estimated budget of “approximately $6,300,000,” as shown in the bid advertisement. The two-level design calls for roughly “about 8,000 square feet per level,” project architect Florence Hawkinson said, and includes a full sprinkler system, an elevator and a basement with dedicated space for future build-outs, a fitness/dance room and a large community room with AV and kitchen facilities.
