Mayor recommended appointing Daniel Hodson to one of the open positions on Milton’s parks board. Council member Cedar moved and Council member Roberts seconded the motion to approve the nomination for a term to expire Dec. 31, 2026. Daniel Hodson introduced himself in the chamber, saying he had a long safety career at Boeing and wanted to lend that experience to the parks board.
Council member Whelan spoke in support of Hodson's nomination. The council voted and the motion passed unanimously (6-0), appointing Hodson to the parks board.
What happens next: Hodson will be seated on the parks board for the remainder of the appointed term; the city clerk will complete appointment paperwork per standard procedure.
