Mesquite ISD's personnel services team presented an effectiveness report to the Board of Trustees that highlighted hiring, substitute staffing, employee health services and onboarding progress.
Emilio Duran and Chastity Willie told trustees the district hired 811 new employees across teachers, counselors, administrators, paraprofessionals and auxiliary staff this school year.
