County educator introduces Waterford Upstart to Bluff council as free online preschool support

"They work with kids 4 to 8 years old, and they're highly encouraging parents to become educators," she said. She described program supports including a coach and, for participants who complete the program, a free laptop and hotspot that they may keep.
The presenter asked the council to consider outreach opportunities — like including the program at town resource fairs — so staff and volunteers can help families register and learn how the program works. Councilors thanked Madison and said they would circulate flyers and consider opportunities at community events.
No formal action was taken; staff were asked to distribute program materials and follow up about including Waterford Upstart in future community outreach efforts.
