The board also accepted the low bid from Performance Pipelining Inc. for the 2024 cured‑in‑place sanitary sewer pipelining program at $126,556 (budgeted amount was higher).
Committee discussion included technical notes on manhole treatments (lining, grouting, variable treatments by condition) and confirmation that both low bidders were qualified based on the packet materials and staff memos.
Separately, the board discussed wrapping up a multi‑year set of negotiated improvements related to the I‑390 corridor, including a quick‑claim deed and a final pay request tied to previously negotiated settlement positions with the Tollway and IDOT. Staff said most issues are resolved but noted a remaining maintenance responsibility on a portion of right‑of‑way adjacent to a sound wall; the village currently performs limited maintenance there for quality‑of‑life reasons and expects small recurring costs.
