Hinsdale police report arrests, recovery of stolen property after Washington Street burglary

"We had 4 people in custody immediately," the police representative said, describing recovered property "probably 4 or 5 garbage bags full of stolen property" that are being cataloged. The officer emphasized that Hinsdale is a low-crime community but cautioned it is not a "no crime" community and credited the citizen tip and officers' response for the arrests.
Commissioners and the chair publicly thanked the police for the response and expressed appreciation for investigators and department leadership.
