A commissioner asked whether the Historic Preservation Commission will review design options for a proposed pavilion located near the commission’s historic space. Staff said Richard Olsen had participated in a pavilion working group and that an updated rendering—described as a merged version of several options—was provided to staff. The pavilion will still need to move through the appropriate approval process, and staff committed to updating commissioners on next steps when the materials are ready.
No timeline for plaque installation or pavilion review was given at the meeting. Commissioners expressed thanks to committee members who assisted with the plaque language.
