The Princeton Planning Board on Nov. 6 approved three conditional-use resolutions for Princeton public schools and completed several routine procedural items in a short meeting.
The board approved a conditional-use authorization for Princeton Bridal School (217 Walnut Lane, Block 7302, Lot 12; file P2525683CO). The motion was moved by Councilman Cohen and seconded by Julie Capizzoli. In roll call votes recorded during the meeting seven members voted yes and Chair Wilson abstained, with the chair explaining she was not able to cast her vote at the underlying meeting.
The board then approved a conditional-use resolution for Littlebrook Elementary School (39 Magnolia Lane, Block 5803, Lot 1; file P2525-684CO). The motion, moved by Mister O'Donnell and seconded by Mister Cohen, carried on roll call; the chair announced the motion carries.
A third conditional-use authorization for Community Park Elementary School (372 Witherspoon Street, Block 6902, Lot 3; file P2525-685CO) was approved after a motion by Councilman Cohen and a second from Mister O'Donnell; roll call votes were affirmative and the motion carried.
The approvals were procedural votes on resolutions submitted by Princeton Public Schools; board members did not open public hearings on any of the items at this meeting. The board also adopted routine minutes and confirmed a quorum before adjourning. The meeting was recorded and the board said it will not convene again until after Thanksgiving.
