At its Feb. 5 meeting the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly confirmed several mayoral appointments and approved a records‑retention resolution. Joseph Delgado was confirmed to the city seat on the Planning and Zoning Commission (term to expire Dec. 31, 2028). The assembly also confirmed Tracy Craig and Sarah Frazier as Planning and Zoning Commission representatives to the borough lands committee and confirmed Joy Erlenbach to an at‑large seat on the Solid Waste Advisory Board (term expiring Dec. 31, 2026).
Clerk Nova explained the records‑retention resolution (FY2023‑03F) brings remaining departments into alignment with changes the assembly adopted in 2025 for the clerk's office and personnel management. Assemblymembers praised the clerk's office work and voted unanimously to adopt the resolution.
All confirmations and the resolution passed by unanimous roll‑call vote; appointments follow standard confirmation procedures outlined in borough code.
