Polk County commissioners set $150/ton recycling tip fee, approve ditch levies, ERP services and multiple construction payments

Polk County commissioners met in regular session and approved a series of operational measures aimed at stabilizing county finances and completing ongoing construction and solid‑waste projects.

The board voted to adopt a $150-per-ton tip fee for single‑stream recyclables effective in 2026.
