The Yamhill County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 5 conducted first and second readings by title and unanimously adopted the repeal of ordinance 943, a comprehensive plan amendment, zoning map amendment and subdivision approval related to Tax Lot R441801000 (planning docket PAZ‑01‑24/SD‑03‑24).
County staff corrected an initial citation and clarified the action was to repeal ordinance 943 and replace it with ordinance 945 for the purpose of withdrawal and reconsideration pursuant to ORS provisions cited in staff remarks. After the chair solicited objections and any required motions, the board moved to approve the readings and then voted aye unanimously to declare the repeal an emergency and adopt it the same day.
The board’s vote clears the way, administratively, for withdrawal and reconsideration of the referenced plan and map approvals; staff indicated the procedural steps required first and second readings and the board complied with those requirements on the record.
What’s next: Staff will process the ordinance paperwork and any follow‑up related to the planning docket as part of the county’s land‑use procedures.
