Airport director: checkpoint saw record 9,730 passengers; two more TSA screening machines expected by November

This will make it 8," the presenter said, and added that the machines "should be in place, they thought, by November." Airport staff told trustees the additional machines are expected to improve passenger flow and reduce congestion during morning peak periods.
Trustees did not request further public discussion on the director's report; the item concluded and the meeting moved to other agenda items.
