TROTWOOD-MADISON CITY — At its Feb. 5 work session the Trotwood-Madison City Schools Board of Education approved several routine items and accepted a small donation, then moved into executive session.
The board approved the district’s annual Ohio High School Athletic Association membership resolution for the 2026–27 school year after the superintendent presented the attachment and requested approval.
The board approved an overnight DECA field trip to Columbus for high school students, noting the sponsor is Mrs. Robinson and that funding will come from CTE funds. The superintendent said the trip includes a small traveling group and that additional trip details would be confirmed with staff.
The board accepted a $131 donation to the high school boys basketball program from the Trotwood-Madison basketball boosters, a motion that passed by roll call.
Later the board approved a motion to enter executive session under state law to consider personnel matters; the motion passed and the board entered executive session at 6:43 p.m.
