Stevens County board approves routine licenses, permits and budget adjustments

On IT, the board approved a proposal to move county phone numbers from the state system into the county’s Microsoft Teams environment and accepted vendor support/licensing quotes. IT Director Vicky Townsend reported the county must be off the state system by July 1; the approved plan includes one‑time hardware and professional services and an ongoing monthly support charge.
Permits and licenses approved included a gambling/raffle permit for the Stevens County Pheasants Forever chapter at the Morris Eagles Club and a tobacco license for DGR Retail LLC (Dollar General store #31632) effective Feb. 1 through year‑end. The board accepted a $100 donation from Robert Asmus to the sheriff’s donation fund and approved a budget adjustment moving a line item within the road and bridge fund for accounting/tracking.
