Forest Park council votes to excuse Councilwoman Clark from early portion of meeting, 5–1
Summary
On Feb. 2 the council voted on a motion to excuse Councilwoman Clark’s late arrival; Council Member Adams moved, Council Member Brown seconded, and the voice vote recorded 5 ayes and 1 nay. Clark was later recorded present.
At the start of the Feb. 2 Forest Park City Council meeting, Council Member Adams moved to excuse Councilwoman Clark’s absence from that portion of the meeting; Council Member Brown seconded the motion. The council called a voice vote and the mayor recorded five ayes and one nay, and the motion carried.
Shortly thereafter the clerk noted that Councilwoman Clark had arrived and should be recorded as present. No additional action or penalties were discussed.
