The Planning & Zoning Committee approved a lengthy consent agenda containing numerous resolutions and bills covering items such as easement extensions, intergovernmental agreements for pavement repairs, renaming of Roehig Court, approvals of technical and engineering services contracts, conservation and greenway easements, and multiple Title 17 zoning amendments.
The chair read the captions for the consent agenda (items included, for example, RS 20 26 17 76; BL 20 26 11 92 renaming Roehig Court to Magnolia Shores; and many BL items authorizing contracts with firms such as Gresham Smith, HDR Engineering, Jacobs Engineering Group and others). The chair noted that items 59, 62 and 63 had been removed from the consent list.
Following a motion and second (movers not named on the record), the committee voted to approve the consent agenda. The chair announced the result as "9 in favor, 0 opposed, 0 not voting." The approval advances these items to the next step in the council process per usual procedure.
Next step: Individual consent items will proceed according to their respective implementation timelines; the removed items (59, 62, 63) were considered separately and deferred.
