Because construction is advanced and delivery timing is critical, the Natural Resources Agency recommended a multiyear award across 2025–2028 grant cycles; future year funding remains contingent on state appropriations.
Vice Chair Falcone moved to approve the programming action and Commissioner Tiffany seconded; the motion carried on a voice vote. Commissioners and attendees acknowledged the cross‑agency coordination that enabled the timing of the programming decision.
