Borger — The Borger City Council handled routine business on Feb. 3, approving its consent agenda items 5–7, approving an interlocal emergency medical services agreement with Stonet and introducing on first reading a speed-limit ordinance for streets through the Frankville College campus.
There were no public comments during the meeting. Councilman Lauckes led the prayer. The consent agenda (items 5–7) was approved by motion and voice vote. The council separately approved the EMS interlocal agreement and authorized the mayor to execute the agreement. The council also introduced Ordinance O-001-26 on first reading to reduce posted speeds on Greg Drive and Marcy Drive to 25 mph; staff will publicize the introduction and arrange to install signs before enforcement.
The meeting was adjourned after those items.
