Radley Williams, Parks and Recreation director, said improvements will increase venue capacity and reduce promoter costs by adding permanent infrastructure such as perimeter fencing and improved loading access; staff also plan targeted outreach to promoters and Visit Orlando/VISIT Central Florida to market the upgraded venue. Council accepted the funding agreement unanimously.
