After consulting environmental health staff, Jeremiah told the board that because the proposal is for a single rental unit with up to four guests it is exempt from local and state permitting and inspection requirements for food and lodging.
Commissioner Cecena moved to approve the applicants’ proposed findings of fact and the special-use permit; the board approved the motion by voice vote, with no recorded roll call or opposition in the transcript.
