Board highlights DARE funding, Back the Blue event and new fire chief’s CTE support

Speaker 8, who identified himself as newly appointed fire chief, said Local 10 McKeesport firefighters will throw a pizza party for CTE students and donate surplus gear to the new protective services students.
Board members congratulated Speaker 8 on his appointment and expressed enthusiasm for the fire department’s cooperation with the CTE program. These announcements were informational; no board action was recorded on Feb. 5.
