Allegany County commissioners approved a nine-item consent agenda covering personnel travel, board reappointments, MOUs and routine purchases.
Mr. Bennett summarized the items: travel authorization for fair personnel (Kevin Kamoff, Sam Wilson and Steve Howth) to attend the Pennsylvania Fair Convention in Hershey, PA; reappointment of Mike Llewellyn to the building codes appeals board through Jan. 22, 2031; reappointment of Jim Kale to the sanitary commission for an additional six-year term; an MOU authorizing the Western Maryland Long Term Recovery Group to administer the Maryland State Disaster Recovery Fund for Western Port flood recovery; a $15,837 purchase of Chief360 software to replace incident-response software for county fire and EMS; and MOUs authorizing EMS staffing and billing arrangements with Crescent Town Volunteer Fire Department and similar agreements with Flintstone Volunteer Fire Department and Tri Towns EMS. The packet also included a proposed MOU with the Pritchard Farms Community Association.
Commissioners approved the consent agenda by voice vote.
