Allegany County commissioners on Monday ratified nine emergency procurements that county staff say have already been completed and invoiced.
Mr. Patterson told the board the nine contracts total $629,001.24 and that approving them would bring the county’s running emergency-procurement total to $7,891,549.28. He said staff reviewed invoices, compared them to project notes and have been communicating with contractors to reconcile bills.
“These have been completed for some time,” Mr. Patterson said, adding that staff will continue efforts to recover funds and that one related matter will be discussed in Annapolis next week.
Commissioners approved the ratification by voice vote.
