Miss Poole told the Hospital Authority board the foundation’s 11th annual Secret Santa program usually serves about 80 children but this year has 177 children in need, and asked board members and staff to participate.
"We have our eleventh annual Secret Santa event," Miss Poole said, noting the need expanded and that the hospital is partnering with the Nashville General Hospital Foundation and Bridal Builders, which will buy gifts for children. She described typical donations — books, clothing, jackets, shoes, hats and gloves — and said participants can adopt a child using the QR code or ask staff to shop and provide an itemized list.
Miss Poole acknowledged the meeting QR code was not working and said she would coordinate with the NGH Foundation team to email a direct donation link before year‑end. She also described a related "Be The Light" campaign for donations to the foundation.
The chair closed the meeting after a motion to adjourn passed by voice vote and extended holiday wishes to attendees.
