Beer Board approves three permits, postpones several items to Feb. 17

At its Jan. 20 meeting the Knoxville Beer Board approved permit requests for Boots and Beer LLC and cleared two other applications pending final documentation.
Tim Angelillo, operations manager for Boots and Beer, told the board the business is at 5410 Kingston Pike; Officer Presley reported "no record" and Mister Berg said the file was complete. A motion to approve carried and the chair told the applicant, "You're approved."
For 71 South Restaurant the applicant, Lucas Adsett, provided his address and staff indicated the file only required the certificate of occupancy; the board approved the application pending final documentation when the CO is submitted. The Fuel Stop on Clinton Highway (applicant Sameer Ramji) likewise was approved pending receipt of a certificate of occupancy.
Staff said several applicants asked to postpone items 6a and 6b, item 8b, and items 8e–8h for Yeehaw Brewing; the chair postponed those items to Feb. 17 without objection.
Votes on the approvals were carried with the board saying "aye" and no opposing votes were recorded on those items; eight members were present for roll call at the start of the meeting.
