Atoka pipeline program advances across nearly 100 miles; multiple contracts awarded

At the Jan. 13 meeting trustees received a status report on the Atoka pipeline program from staff member Larry (Hare), who said nearly all projects in the program are now under construction except for the Draper Lake outlet structure.
Hare provided segment-level updates: Pump Station 0 (southern tip of Lake Atoka) is expected to be completed in March 2028; pipeline 872 (about 15 miles) has tunneling complete and pipe delivery underway with a June 2028 completion target; the Stonewall pump station has started clearing and grubbing and a gas-main relocation is scheduled to begin Feb. 8; segment 876 (Canadian River to Konawa, ~10.5 miles) is under construction and expected July 2027.
Hare listed recent contract awards and values given in the presentation: contract 878 was awarded in December to Belt Construction for $52,500,000 with expected completion April 2028; WC 879‑1 (Macomb to Lake Draper) was awarded in December to McKee for $63,600,000 with an April 2028 target; an Archer Western contract (approximately $41,200,000) was awarded for interim surge facilities at Macomb, ETA and Colgate pump stations. Hare said the only major remaining bid package is the Draper outlet structure (879‑2), which staff expect to bid later in the year.
Trustees asked no substantive follow-up during the presentation. Hare closed by noting the program covers almost 100 miles of pipeline and that site conditions vary by segment.
