After discussion the board voted to move consideration to a subsequent meeting (to be held in conjunction with a Solid Waste Authority meeting), directing the applicant to submit notarized ownership disclosures in advance. Commissioners who support the event said they want the tournament to proceed but also emphasized adherence to transparency rules and conflict‑of‑interest safeguards before awarding the contract.
